3-D Stress Analysis

Our Pro/Engineer Wildfires Simulation provides displacement and stress analysis done on board models using solid elements, including components, push fingers/support placement and probe forces.

To avoid components from being compressed on the top surface and stretched on the bottom side of the board, Pro/Engineer Wildfires Simulation fabricates fixtures with push fingers and board supports to reduce flexing and lower stresses placed on the board under test. 3D Stress Analysis can be done during the design or board layout stage to prevent major stress problems on critical components, such as BGAs.
