India Site Information

Flextronics’ operations in India support a variety of customers in the networking, servers and storage, communications, global services, computing and mobile consumer markets. Within our Indian facilities we offer a broad range of capabilities including the engineering and manufacturing of printed circuit boards, box-build and assembly. We also specialize in mechanical engineering processes such as metal stamping, machining and tooling.

Our Indian facilities offer design for manufacturing, prototyping, functional and reliability testing, supply chain management, repair and refurbishment and logistics, while holding certifications in areas such as quality (ISO), occupational health and safety, electrostatic discharge control, product safety and environmental compliance. Additionally, our facilities hold certifications that support specific markets such as telecommunications.

Our operations in India are located in Bangalore, Chennai, New Delhi and Mumbai. Chennai is home to Flextronics’ Industrial Park in India — a facility located in a low cost region of the country that helps diminish the cost of production. Products are manufactured on-site and shipped directly from the Industrial Park to end users, greatly reducing freight costs of incoming components and outgoing products. Products that are not produced on-site are available through our network of regional manufacturing facilities located near the Industrial Park.
