While an interface is running, KioskFrame supports optional content and URL filtering, and can prevent users from downloading files or accessing other parts of the system. And because users sometimes try to use self-service devices in unintended ways, KioskFrame uses two-factor authentication to block unauthorized access, and can even restrict the capabilities of individual administrative accounts.

Director Server gives you everything you need to manage an entire network of unattended devices with powerful reporting and notification tools, and direct access to KioskFrame’s dashboard and the Windows desktop.
Stay informed
In addition to recording the errors, events, and transactions on a device, KioskFrame also tracks the status of each peripheral. View a real-time list of hardware to see which components are ready, busy, or idle over the course of a transaction, and use Director Server to view uptime reports for each one.
Financial-grade security
Secure communication is handled with QueueWorks, so you know your data will always be delivered safely, even if your network connection fails. Signed digital certificates verify the identity of all devices on your network, and strong 3DES encryption keeps transactions and customer data private. QueueWorks includes a developer API so you can extend the protocol for your own custom data.

Errors handled
Mystery crashes are a thing of the past. KioskFrame acts as your last line of defense against unhandled exceptions that can wreak havoc on a self-service device, causing downtime and embarrassing error messages. KioskFrame records errors and signals if something has gone wrong. This gives your application an opportunity to recover gracefully, or for more serious errors, switch into a controlled out-of-order mode.
Self healing
Since self-service devices are unattended, they must be able to recover automatically in case of serious errors. A separate background process constantly monitors KioskFrame, checking for signs which indicate a system failure. In the event of a rare, serious crash, KioskFrame will suppress any error windows and restart itself automatically.
Smart notifications
KioskFrame remembers the state of each peripheral, and can notify you when a change is made. For example, if your printer paper runs out, and is later replaced, you can receive two alerts – one when the problem occurs, and one when it is resolved. Intelligent monitoring sends you just enough information to make smart decisions, without overwhelming you with extra messages.
