Director Server™ is a web-based remote management system that provides real time connectivity to a single device or a network of devices to perform system maintenance, collect data, manage peripherals, push and pull media, and much more.
Remote Desktop Control
The Desktop Control tool provides a remote view of the device screen as well as the ability to enter mouse/keyboard/touch screen actions. Desktop Control provides advanced features specific to self service such as the ability to enter exclusive, shared, and view only modes which allow you to shut down or share the remote keyboard/mouse/touch screen and other input devices.
Remote Management Console
The Remote Management Console provides remote command prompts, file management, database editing, log viewing, registry editing, process management, out of order screens, remote reboots, security tools, and interaction with device specific commands. All tools are custom written to be efficient on the Gateway VPN architecture and are installed with and fully integrated with VendiSoft Director Server™.
Role Based User Permissions
Director Server™ includes a configurable user permissions system which allows account owners to grant or restrict access to other people on their device maintenance team. Add an unlimited number of users to an account, each with a unique username and password, and assign devices, actions, and content to each login through a simple drag-and-drop interface.
Digital Media Management
Create a library of movies, graphics, sounds, animations, and other multimedia content stored on director. Then setup campaigns defining which media to play from the media library, when to play the media, and optionally, how to bill it. Finally, assign campaigns to many devices and push the content out automatically.
Reporting and Analytics
VendiSoft Director Sever™ supports advanced reporting and analytics. Data tracked includes System Resource Usage, User Interface Usage, Advertising Statistics, Revenue Generation, and Inventory. Custom reports can also be created to track a wide variety of data depending on the customer’s needs.
