To establish a spirit of partnership and trust with current or future suppliers, the company SIDLER Automotive has defined firm requirements. The focus of this policy is a good balance of the mutual performances, of risks and opportunities. Our purchasing strategy is based on the simple guideline that SIDLER Automotive’s purchasing department imposes the same requirements towards suppliers, as our customers have towards our products.
The SIDLER Automotive buyers choose suppliers based on the principles of quality, environment, service (deadline adherence and development capabilities) as well as cost optimization. Sidler is consistently seeking to build long-term win-win partnerships with suppliers.
Because the requirements imposed on us are characterized by short delivery times and quick adjustment to the market requirements, we also expect flexibility and an above-average delivery performance from our suppliers. SIDLER Automotive has implemented an environmental management system according to DIN ISO 14001. We expect our suppliers to at least focus on environmental aspects in a visible alignment to these standards. We are also focused on occupational safety the observance of which SIDLER Automotive expects from its suppliers, too, no matter whether in Germany or abroad. Furthermore, we demand and impose on all our suppliers that they abide the law wherever they are active.
