For the optimization of the value chain, SIDLER Automotive has established some collaboration guidelines for the supply chain:
- An early project incorporation of the suppliers in the development stage. We regard our suppliers to be experts in their respective market segments. Their know-how is a treasure which we want to incorporate in our projects at an early stage.
- Establishment of long-term relations to suppliers who as our value chain partners are not only able to produce components, but also to increasingly supply assemblies or even systems.
- The gradual development from inspected quality towards systematically produced quality with early information being exchange4d in case of disturbances, and clearly defined processes to tackle problems. The goal is clearly defined: Zero ppm performance. As customary in the automotive industry, the minimum requirement towards our suppliers is a certified quality management system according to DIN ISO 9001. The medium-range goal for all suppliers is the certification according to ISO TS 16949 and DIN ISO 14001.
- Competitive prices and cost based on the global market price level.
